Well-known comedian Kapil Sharma is currently the talk of the town for his verbal spat with the editor of a popular web news publication catering to the entertainment world. Various news publications print as well as electronic and few fraternity people felt that the comedian shouldn’t have behaved in such an abusive manner. However, this is what Kapil’s fellow comedians, his close friends have to say about his actions and his state of mind.

While conversing with Hindustan times Sugandha Mishra said, “This is not the Kapil I knew. He was the one who got me to Mumbai and helped me seek permission from my family to have a career in this stream. But the choices he has made currently has led to his downfall. Probably the sudden stardom and success that he has got, had made him lose control of himself especially with the current team.”

Further comedian Kiku Sharda mentioned, “I will feel very bad if an artist like him, who has done such good work, doesn’t make a comeback. I really wish him all the best for recovering and he should be back with a bang. We have spread a lot of laughter and cheer, so if today he says he is not keeping well, we should give him some space and time. I would request everyone to give him his space, let him relax.”

Whereas, Kapil’s close friend and co-star Chandan Prabhakar averred that he is depressed and is on medicines for past few months. He further added that Kapil is a very emotional person and the negative articles have affected him a lot.
