Panvel reported 102 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally up to 25,088, while 75 people have completely recovered in the last 24 hours. In addition to this, one death has been registered in Panvel municipal area on Thursday (November 26). So far, 23,916 people have made a complete recovery. The death toll in Panvel stands at 576. At present, there are 596 active patients of coronavirus cases as per Panvel Municipal Corporation.
Among the new patients found in Panvel municipal area are eight from Panvel, 11 from New Panvel, five from Khandha Colony, 20 from Kalamboli, 23 from Kamothe, 30 from Kharghar and five from Taloja. While 14 patients from Panvel, 12 from New Panvel, 5 from Kalamboli, 18 from Kamothe and 26 from Kharghar have recovered.
Maharashtra reported 6,406 new COVID-19 cases, 4,815 recoveries and 65 death on Thursday (November 26) taking the total number of cases in the state to 18,02,365. The total number of recovered patients in Maharashtra are 16,68,538. While the death toll is at 46,813 in Maharashtra. There are 85,963 active cases in the state.
To arrest the growing number of cases in the state, Maharashtra government on Wednesday (November 25) issued guidelines making it mandatory for all the travellers who are coming from Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa and Gujarat to carry COVID negative report. This report has to be obtained 72 hours prior to the travel or the passenger will have to get an RT-PCR test at the airport or railway station at their own expense.
