India’s coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination coverage, on Monday, September 13, 22021, crossed 75 Crore landmark milestone and as per reports, over 67 lakh doses of vaccine were administered until 5:30 pm on the day. The daily vaccination tally was expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports. With this data, India has also become home to more than 99% HCWs and FLWs vaccinated with one shot of COVID Vaccine.
Along with sharing the information, Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, lauded the entire country for the achievement of 75 Cr landmark milestone. Meanwhile, World Health Organisation (WHO) SEARO also congratulated India for accelerating COVID-19 Vaccination and achieving the mark.

The vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from COVID-19 continues to be regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.
As of Sunday, the state had administered 53,38,945 vaccine doses in 24 hours and the COVID-19 vaccination coverage had surpassed the cumulative figure of 74.3 cr as per provisional reports received until 7 am on Monday. Officials also stated that this was achieved through 75,64,949 sessions. Meanwhile, the government is also committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination across the country
Data revealed that the recovery of 37,687 patients increased the cumulative tally of recovered patients to over 3.2 cr and consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 97.54 per cent. The sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs continue the trend of less than 50,000 new cases each day and this is being reported for over 75 days now.

On the other hand, the active caseload is presently over 3.7 lakh and this presently constitute 1.13 per cent of the country's total positive cases. The 24 hours until Monday morning witnessed a total of over 12 lakh tests and the country has so far conducted over 54.30 Cr cumulative tests, revealed the report.
While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, the weekly positivity rate stands at 2.11 per cent, and has been less than 3 per cent for the last 80 days now.
