Aaditya Thackeray, Shiv Sena leader, recently took to Twitter to inform that the Taj Hotel Group, which is located across the country, will now be officially be made available in the Sindhudurg district.
Taj Hotels Group has officially come to Sindhudurg now. The district, meant to be a tourism hub, was awaiting this crown for 2 decades.

He further stated that the district which has been a hub for tourism has been waiting for this for a long time. Moreover, a memorandum of understanding was signed regarding the same.
The Taj Hotels is a chain of luxury hotels headquartered at Express Towers, Nariman Point in Mumbai. Known for its premium stay and world-class architecture, the chain of hotels has been a matter of pride for the city for decades.
The Shiv Sena leader had earlier inaugurated a new art installation at the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). Eknath Shinde, State Urban Development Minister was also present at the unveiling of this new installation.
This installation is said to be a part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (MMRDA) ‘BKC Art District Plaza’ which will be nestled near the Nandadeep Garden. It is said that this area will also include an amphitheatre along with dedicated seating spaces as well as a green space.
According to sources, the MMRDA is contemplating the hosting of an annual festival in the area along the lines of the Kala Ghoda festival, which is an annual multicultural event in South Mumbai consisting of art shows and several other attractions.
