On Thursday evening, a 72-inch water pipeline burst at Sakinaka in suburban Andheri East. According to the information received, the reason for pipe burst was the ongoing road maintenance work.

BMC has shared that the incident took place at 7;23 pm at Harmani Apartment, Nr. Ashok Nagar, Krishnalal Marwah Road, Sakinaka, Andheri (E). The officials have also informed that the repair work is being carried out,
As a result of this burst, water supply to the nearby areas including Saki Vihar Road, Marwah Estate, Chandivali Farm Road, Seth Chemical Road, Chandivali Mhada and Milind Nagar will be impacted.
