All political parties in Maharashtra have initiated their election campaigns for the upcoming assembly polls which are scheduled on October 21. The political parties are inviting their star campaigners from all across the country. 

To campaign for the candidates contesting upcoming assembly polls, Congress invited Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to Mumbai. 

The senior leader had planned to conduct an election rally in Mira-Bhayandar. However, the same was called off after Gehlot was reported unwell.

On Tuesday, CM Gehlot’s rally in Mira-Bhayandar was cancelled after his health worsened but his programmes for Wednesday remain unchanged.

Gehlot will address a press conference at 1:30 PM here in Mumbai and later in the evening, will carry out two election rallies in Dharavi and Colaba.
