Amid the election buzz in Mumbai, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt on Monday will campaign for his sister - Congress candidate Priya Dutt. The Bollywood actor had earlier informed that he will rally for Priya Dutt who is contesting against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Poonam Mahajan from Mumbai North-Central Lok Sabha constituency.
While filing her nomination, Priya Dutt was accompanied by her brother and husband. Earlier in 2014, Dutt was defeated by Mahajan but Congress has yet again fielded her from the same constituency.

As per the affidavit, Dutt holds assets worth ₹87.61 crore including movable and non-movable assets worth ₹17.84 and ₹69.77, respectively. Along with this, Dutt has mentioned her liabilities worth ₹3.35 crore. The affidavits state that Priya Dutt possesses ₹13.85 lakh in cash.
