Mumbai – Few months back, state government came out with a circular stating that taxi and auto driver should know basic Marathi language and should know the topography before applying for permits. However, Bombay High Court has asked state’s priority, if it is language or safety of passengers?
Mumbai Live spoke to the Mumbaikars and got their reactions on the same. Some of the people said that the Marathi language should be made mandatory while some said that safety should be given priority and then should think about language.
