Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat released two books on Monday. Those two books are 'Bharat Ka Muslim' and 'Mere Papa Paramveer' and these books are based on the life of martyr Abdul Hameed, who displayed unparalleled bravery in the war of 1965. He was speaking in Dhamupur, Hamid's native village in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur on Monday. At the time of publishing this book, Mohan Bhagwat also commented on the social harmony in India and the conflict between China and Pakistan.

Mohan Bhagwat was invited as the chief guest for this event. On this occasion, he commented on the diversity of India. “India has a lot of diversity. But still India survives as a nation and a society. We have different religions, castes, societies and states. We speak different languages. But as a country we are all one", said Mohan Bhagwat on this occasion.
Referring to the wars with Pakistan and China, Mohan Bhagwat said, "During the wars with our enemy nations, we have seen people of all castes, religions and states unite for our country".

Before the speech, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat paid tributes to the statue of Abdul Hameed and his late wife Rasool Bibi. Abdul Hameed was posthumously honored with the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery during the 1965 war. The book 'Mere Papa Paramveer' is written by Ramachandran Srinivasan and the book 'Bharat Ka Muslim' is written by retired Captain Maqsood Ghazipuri.
