BEST increases bus frequency on 9 routes till June 2; Check list here

The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) has increase bus frequency on nine routes in the city from today, May 31 till June 2.

This development comes amid ongoing 63-hour special block owing to infrastructure development works at Thane and CSMT. During this period, over 900 local trains on Central Railway (CR) has been cancelled.

Therefore, the transport body has taken decision to avoid overcrowded platforms and trains on these days and reduce the inconvenience caused to commuters.

According to an official statement released by the BEST, they will run 254 extra services on nine routes with 43 extra buses during the mega block period apart from the regular ones.

The following additional buses will be operated on these routes till 3:30 pm on June 2:

•  A.C.-10 - Colaba Depot to Wadala Station
• 11Ltd - CSMT to Dharavi Depot
• 14 - Dr Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Chowk till Pratiksha nagar Depot
• 1 - CSMT to Dadar Station 
• 2Ltd - Colaba Depot to Byculla Station
• A-45 - Colaba depot to MMRDA Colony, Mahul
• C-42 - Rani Lakshmi Chowk to Dadlani Park
• A-174 - Antop hill to Veer Kotwal Park (Plaza)
• 2Ltd - Colaba Depot to Byculla Station

The frequency of buses that have been increased between June 1 from midnight 12:30 to June 2 at 12:30 pm:

• 1 - CSMT to Dadar Station 
• 2Ltd - Colaba Depot to Byculla Station
• A.C.-10 - Colaba Depot to Wadala Station
