Central Railways (CR) has decided to augment 17415/17416 Tirupati –Kolhapur Haripriya Express and 17411/17412 Mumbai – Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Express with one AC 2-Tier cum AC 3-Tier coach on permanent basis.

Additionally, the railways have decided to run several special trains from Mumbai to other cities In Maharashtra and also across states in order to clear the passenger rush.

Details of the Mumbai-Kolhapur trains given below:
 
17415 Tirupati – Sri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) Haripriya Express ex Tirupati from April 1, 2022
17416 Sri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur)- Tirupati Haripriya Express ex Kolhapur from April 42022

17411 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Sri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) Mahalaxmi Express ex Mumbai from 03.04.2022
17412 Sri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur)- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Mahalaxmi Express ex Kolhapur from 02.04.2022

Revised Composition of the above trains:
One First AC cum AC 2-Tier, One AC 2-Tier, One AC 2-Tier cum AC 3-Tier coach, Three AC 3-Tier, 12 Sleeper and 4 Second seating coaches.

Meanwhile, CR's Mumbai Division has introduced “Personal Care Centers” at CSMT for the first time under Non-Fare Revenue. This initiative will give revenue of INR 75 lakhs for five years. The Contracts for Construction, Operation, Maintenance and Management of Personal Care Centre at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) station has been awarded for INR 14,77,000 for a period of five years.
