The Central Railway will carry out the block at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) to carry out infrastructure work between July 1 to 30, so from June 30, the Netravati and Matsyagandha Express running through Central and Konkan Railway will run to Panvel instead of LTT and depart from Panvel itself. Due to this, the journey of other passengers including Konkani passengers living in the Mumbai metropolis will face inconvinience.
Due to late operation of Konkan Railway, the passengers have suffered a lot since the last few years. Some of the trains were running late by almost 10 hours, resulting in wastage of passengers' time. In addition, when a 36-hour block was taken at CSMT recently, several trains from Konkan to Mumbai were partially cancelled.
Once again, the work of the limited line (pit line) for the maintenance and repair of trains in LTT's yard will be carried out. Therefore Netravati and Matsyagandha express has been partially cancelled with regards to the megablock and the stop has been changed.
