It seems people couldn’t care less when it comes to saving their lives in a quest to save time as they cross the railway tracks. As a result, the RPF is left with no other opportunity than to charge them with a penalty. But here also to escape paying the penalty, people try brushing it off saying that they are short of cash. But no problem, because now the RPF has come up with a high-end solution to counter this.
The RPF has now started using swipe machines so as to not let the ones found at fault, do not have an easy escape. Moreover, this is started just for Andheri station and if successful, the RPF will deploy this technique for other stations too.
At the same time, the RPF have also opened an account with the State Bank of India wherein it will deposit the complete amount of penalty.
