The coronavirus hasn’t been kind to anyone, and mid-July it affected the Bachchans. Since then, all apart from Abhishek Bachchan have recovered and made it home, while he continues to stay ‘positive’ during his recovery.
Despite being confined to a bed in a Mumbai hospital, Junior Bachchan finds strength in well-wishers and loved ones who have been in touch to wish the actor well. Veteran producer Anand Pandit who is working with Abhishek for their upcoming OTT release ‘The Big Bull’ has been in touch with the actor and shares that the actor is dealing with the situation calmly and practically.
“It is bound to be difficult to stay in isolation, despite the solace that his family has overcome the virus. However, every time I speak to Abhishek on the phone, he only radiates positivity, much like he used to do on set. It’s heartening to see him get through this with so much hope. He is a fighter and will be back home and on the sets soon. The entire industry and his many fans are wishing him well and praying for him. Our entire film team will wait to welcome him back with a bang,” Pandit says optimistically. Abhishek is currently being treated at Nanavati Hospital, while his father Amitabh Bachchan, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya have been discharged after testing negative.
Anand Pandit has been working with Abhishek Bachchan in their upcoming film ‘The Big Bull’ which is slated to release this year on Disney Hotstar. The film is reportedly based on India's securities scam of 1992. Directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by veteran producer Anand Pandit and Ajay Devgn, it stars Abhishek Bachchan and Ileana D'Cruz.
Anand Pandit has collaborated and produced some iconic films under the banner Anand Pandit Motion Pictures. Interestingly he is working with both the Bachchans currently - with Big B in ‘Chehre’ and Junior Bachchan in ‘The Big Bull’ both set to release later this year.
