A shocking incident has come to light where a man allegedly poisoned his three children by mixing rat poison in their ice cream.
Moreover, Mumbai Police has informed that one child has died in the case. According to reports, five-year-old Alishan Ali Mohammad died of the poisoning while two other children - 7-year-old Alina and 2-year-old Armaan are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Mumbai Police further added that the accused poisoned the children after an alleged fight at home last Friday, June 25. Meanwhile, the horrific crime was reported by the wife of the accused. On the other hand, earlier on Sunday night, June 27, doctors of Mumbai's Sion hospital took out a candle march in front of the hospital premises demanding justice for the healthcare worker providing service relentlessly since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
This came days after two brothers allegedly assaulted a doctor at civic-run Sion Hospital after their father died during treatment last week, said an official. According to reports, the accused Rajesh Gupta (36) and his brother Roshan Gupta (39) roughed up the doctor following the death of their father during treatment on Friday afternoon, June 25.
