Mumbai- Padma awards were announced a day prior to Republic Day and eminent Mumbaikars have found their names in the list of awardees for Padmashree. Various sports personalities are also in the list Padmashree awards.Some of the Mumbaikars are-
Anuradha Paudwal- Singer
Kailash Kher - Singer
Sanjeev Kapoor - Chef
Bhavna Somaiyya -Film critic
Veteran politician and NCP chief Sharad Pawar will be awarded Padmashree.
Cricketer Virat Kohli, Gymnast Deepa Karmakar and Olympic bronze medalist Sakshi Malik are also going to be the proud recipients of Padmashree awards this year.
