Thackerays meet President Pranab Mukherjee

Mumbai – Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray and Yuva Sena president Aditya Thackeray called on President Pranab Mukherjee in Mumbai on Friday. 

Thackerays met the President when he dropped at Raj Bhavan here for some time. President Mukherjee had visited the Matoshri, the resident of Thackerays, to seek the support of Shiv Sena for his candidature in the President’s election. The Shiv Sena and the Janata Dal (U) had extended their support to Mukherjee though being part of the NDA. 

Sena MP Sanjay Raut had also met the President in 2016 and he had praised the work of President.

Pranab Mukherjee is likely to be the candidate for President’s post for his second term as President of India.
