Almost lakhs of people travel by Indian Railways every day. Many of them travel in sleeper or general class. Now in Mumbai, the local train is said to be the lifeline. However, there have been many incidents of quarrels between passengers while traveling by train.
Many videos of fights in this regard have gone viral on social media. Many times there are fights over seats in trains. Also, some people are often found traveling without a valid ticket.
Due to the increase in such complaints, the Central Railway has taken an important decision. If a passenger has any problem or has any complaint while traveling by train, he or she can complain directly through WhatsApp, i.e. Central Railway has now started WhatsApp helpline service as per the report by The Free Press Journal.
