Maharashtra State Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde, who faced rape allegations recently, is in trouble once again. While Munde's sister-in-law withdrew the complaint, his second wife recently approached Mumbai Police Commissionerate and lodged a written complaint against him, whereby she has accused Munde of keeping her two children in a Chitrakoot-based bungalow, for the last three months.
Dhananjay Munde's second wife Karuna along with her lawyer went to the Commissionerate of Police and lodged a written complaint against him with Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh.
In a written complaint, Karuna's statements have been lodged with the Mumbai Police under Section 376, 377, 420, 471, 324, 506 (2) of the Bhadanvi Act, Sections 18, 19 of the Domestic Violence Act and Section 9 of the IT Act. Shedding light on the same, she said that Dhananjay Munde has kept both the children in his bungalow for the last 3 months and does not allow them to visit. Besides this, he doesn't even talk on the phone. She said that during her visit on January 24, Dhananjay Munde called 30 to 40 policemen and forbade me from meeting the children.
Karuna mentioned that the children are not safe in the bungalow and there is a 14-year-old girl among the boys. However, she has also made a serious allegation that Munde has been behaving in an obscene manner in front of her, saying that there is no caretaker for her; and has also mentioned in the complaint that Dhananjay Munde will be responsible if anything goes wrong with the children.
She has also issued a warning that if she is not allowed to visit my children, she will be fasting till death from February 20, 2021.
Karuna has also sought permission to go on a hunger strike in front of the Chitrakoot bungalow or at Mantralaya and Azad Maidan. Besides this, she has also demanded strict action against Dhananjay Munde.
