"Break barrels of Nepalese guns immediately," said Shiv Sena on Tuesday against the backdrop of recent firing by Nepal Armed Police Force (NAPF) which left an Indian civilian injured in Bihar’s Kishanganj district.

In an editorial published in Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana’, it called for breaking barrels of Nepalese guns immediately or else such incidents will become a permanent headache.

Although China has been quiet in Ladakh now but is playing games to ensure disruption on Indian borders by making Pakistan and Nepal fire bullets, Shiv Sena said.

Shiv Sena highlighted that Pakistan has violated ceasefire more than 2,500 times till now this year while adding that 21 civilians were killed and 94 were left injured. Praising the Indian soldiers for giving befitting replies to terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, the Uddhav Thackeray-led party sought to know when will the country’s ruler succeed in stopping Pakistan ceasefire violations and firing across the border.

On Sunday, an Indian national was injured in firing by the NAPF in ‘no man’s land’ on the Indo-Nepal Border in Kishanganj around 9:30 in the night. The injured Jitendra Kumar Singh and three others had gone there to bring back their cattle.

Shiv Sena pointed out that earlier Pakistan was firing from across the border and now Nepal is doing the same. “We should immediately stop the firing from Nepalese guns or else it will become a permanent headache as is the case with Pakistan,” the editorial read.

Earlier, Shiv Sena had slammed Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli over his remarks that the real Ayodhya lies in Nepal and not in India while calling him the puppet of China.

Sena had said that Lord Ram belongs to the entire world but his birthplace Ayodhya belongs only to India.
