Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) has launched 'Shiv Sampark Abhiyan 2024' to prepare for the upcoming assembly elections. Thackeray has asked his assembly coordinators to send names of potential candidates, list of party office bearers from Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) and other parties in MVA.

Along with this, as part of the campaign, Saffron Week (Saffron Week) will be observed from August 4 to August 11 to reach out to voters.

The leaders will review the assembly constituencies within a week and will send a report to the party headquarters in Mumbai. After receiving the report from all the coordinators, Uddhav Thackeray will hold a meeting to discuss the candidates from each constituency before finalising the names.

Uddhav and Aditya Thackeray have started touring the state in the first two weeks of July. With one and a half months left before the assembly election code of conduct takes effect, Uddhav has directed all 288 assembly coordinators to start the 'Shiv Sampark Abhiyan 2024'. Thackeray has instructed coordinators to visit each constituency twice with the upazila and tehsil chiefs. Meetings must be held in each Panchayat Samiti group with mandatory attendance of local department heads, branch heads, and Yuva Sena office bearers.

Local leaders must also collect data on party functionaries led by Prakash Ambedkar (VBA), local leaders in MVA, and socio-political organisations like the Sambhaji Brigade. Thackeray has ordered the establishment of relations with sarpanchs, lawyers, doctors, teachers, and women's self-help group promoters.

Using this data, assembly coordinators will identify potential candidates and report on the factors behind the MVA candidates' successes or losses in each constituency.
