Similar to Gauri Ganpati, the decision to give 'Anandacha Shidha' (Food of Joy)
to around 1.5 crore ration card holders of the state for Diwali was taken in the cabinet meeting on Friday. According to this, ration card holders will be given one kg of semolina, one kg of chickpeas, one kg of sugar and one litre of palm oil for INR 100. Some important decisions have been taken in the state cabinet meeting. The Maharashtra Casino Act has also been repealed.

Cabinet meeting decision
- All the tribal enclosures in the 17 districts of the state will now be connected with the main road
- Gauri Ganpati, Diwali Anand Ration at INR 100 each for 1 kg of semolina, chana dal, sugar, edible oil (food and civil supplies)
- Substantial increase in tuition fees for Artisan Apprentices in ITIs. Now you will get INR 500 per month (skill development)
- Permission for Redevelopment of Mumbai Press Club at Fort (Revenue Department)
- Repeal of Maharashtra Casino Act (Home Department)
- Nutrition mission program in the state as per the instructions of the centre, increase in state share (women and child development)
- Repeal Ordinance 2023 of Cooperative Societies and Members (Cooperative Department)
- Revised Pension of Retired Judicial Officers of Secondary Courts
- Civil Court (Department of Law and Justice) at Mandangarh
