Similar to Gauri Ganpati, the decision to give 'Anandacha Shidha' (Food of Joy)
to around 1.5 crore ration card holders of the state for Diwali was taken in the cabinet meeting on Friday. According to this, ration card holders will be given one kg of semolina, one kg of chickpeas, one kg of sugar and one litre of palm oil for INR 100. Some important decisions have been taken in the state cabinet meeting. The Maharashtra Casino Act has also been repealed.

Cabinet meeting decision
- All the tribal enclosures in the 17 districts of the state will now be connected with the main road

- Nutrition mission program in the state as per the instructions of the centre, increase in state share (women and child development)
