Mumbai will soon have its first edutainment park on a four-acre plot in DN Nagar, Andheri (West). The park was envisioned by BJP MLA Ameet Satam. It is expected to be completed in phases. The first phase will take about 12 months to complete and is set to be finished by October 2025.

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) issued the work order for the project on October 9. Construction had already started earlier this month.

The park will have three themed pavilions focusing on the environment, the ocean, and space. It will also include a semi-covered amphitheater and an area dedicated to children's play and entertainment.

The site currently has four buildings, which will be turned into a 3D virtual reality display showcasing themes about nature and space.

As per a report, Satam emphasised the importance of improving open spaces in the city. Satam has previously been involved in several projects, like the Gilbert Hill conservation efforts and the Juhu beach makeover. He has also worked on creating 58 gardens across the city.

The goal of the new park is to offer a unique experience for the community, turning open spaces into more engaging and beneficial spaces.
