A grand victory parade is organised on July 4, 2024 for the Indian cricket team, winner of the T20 World Cup at Marine Drive.
The Indian team, who won the T20 World Cup 2024, will take part in an open bus victory parade in South Bombay followed by a felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium.

To avoid inconvenience to the commuters, following traffic arrangements will be in place from 3 pm to 9 pm today, July 4.
No Parking for all types of vehicles on the South and North bound on the following road:
The traffic after and before Coastal road will be diverted from Princess Street Bridge/Meghdoot Bridge.
These roads will be closed and their alternative routes:
Road Closed - NS Road (North Bound)
N.S Road North Bound will remain closed for all types of vehicular traffic except emergency vehicles proceeding both bounds from N.C.P.A to Meghdoot Bridge (Princess Street Bridge)
Alternative Route:
Ramnath Poddar Chowk (Godrej Junction)-Right turn by Maharshi Karve-Road Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Chuchgate Junction)-Marine Lines-Charni Road-Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House) -will proceed to desired destination.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Junction left turn via Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil-CTO Junction-will proceed to desired destination.
Road Closed - N. S Road (South Bound)
Meghdoot Bridge (Princess Street Bridge) to NCPA/ Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Junction) will be closed for all types of vehicles as per requirement.
Alternative Route:
Kemps Corner Bridge take a Left Turn and proceed to the desired destination at Nana Chowk
From RTI Junction take a left turn to N S Patkar Marg -Pandit Paluskar Chowk-(Opera House) left turn -SVP Road also take a right turn at Pandit Paluskar Chowk-(Opera House) and proceed to the desired destination via Maharshi Karve Road
From Vinoly Chowapatty Junction take a left turn and will be proceed to desired destination via Maharshi Karve Road.
From Princess Street Bridge take a left turn to Shamaldas Gandhi Magr-Vardhaman Chowk and proceed to desired destination.
Road Closed:
Veer Nariman Road (North Bound) - North bound Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Chuchgate Junction) to Kilachand chowk (Sunder Mahal Junction) will remain close for all types of vehicles.
Dinshaw Vacha Road - North bound from WIAA Chowk to Ratanlal Babuna Chowk (Marine Plaza Junction) will be closed for all types of vehicles.
Barrister Rajni Patel Marg - North bound from Sekhar bhavan junction to N S Road will be closed for all types of vehicles.
Alternative Route:
Proceed to desired destination via Maharshi Karve Road - Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Chuchgate Junction) -Marine Lines-Charni Road-Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction).
Maharshi Karve Road-Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction) -Marine Lines-Charni Road- Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction) will proceed to the desired destination.
Hotel Trident out gate-Right turn- Sakhar Bhavan junction-Barrister Rajni Patel Marg-Usha Mehta Chowk - Free press circle will proceed to the desired destination.
Road Closed:
Madam Cama Road - Northbound remain closed from all types of vehicles from Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Junction) to Venutai Chavan Chowk (Air India Junction)
Vinay K Shah Marg - Northbound from Jamanalal Bajaj Marg to Murali Deora Chowk -N S Road Vinay K Shah Marg leading to the road will be closed for all types of vehicles.
Alternative Route:
via Maharshi karve road Ramnath Poddar Chowk (Godrej Junction)- Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Chuchgate Junction) --Marine Lines-Charni Road-Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction) will proceed to desired destination
Ramnath Goenka Marg-Sekhar Bhavan junction-Right turn-Barrister Rajni Patel Marg-Free press circle will proceed to the desired destination.
Additionally, in a video message, Mumbai Police DCP Zone 1 Pravin Munde urged fans: "Indian cricket team will be reaching Mumbai after winning the T20 World Cup. A victory procession in an open bus is being held from 5-7 pm on Marine Drive between Nariman Point and Wankhede Stadium. If you want to attend the procession, kindly reach before 4:30 pm and assemble on the promenade side and not on the road. A victory lap is being held in Wankhede Stadium at 7 pm. If you wish to attend that, please ensure you reach and be seated in the stadium before 6 pm. Kindly try to use public transport to avoid traffic congestion."
