Matoshree Women Savings Group Federation initiated a project which is garnering every Mumbaikar's attention. Permits for women auto drivers were provided on the special eve of Gudi Padwa. Around 19 women were given the permit by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s wife Rashmi Thackeray during an event. Women of all ages have applied for the permission to drive the auto rickshaw.
