Tamil actor Pradeep K Vijayan has died suspiciously. He was found dead in his home, with injuries to his head. His friend had been trying to contact him for two days, but after receiving no response, visited his home and learned that he had died. The actor's body has been sent to a government hospital for post-mortem and the cause of death is under investigation.
Pradeep Vijayan was found dead at his home in Palavakkam on June 12. According to India Today, Pradeep was having trouble breathing and was feeling dizzy, which he had told his friends about. After several days of not getting any response from Pradeep, one of his friends went to his house. After knocking the door several times but there was no answer from inside, the friend informed the police about this.
Neelankarai police along with fire brigade broke the door of the house and entered. At that time, Pradeep was found dead with injuries on his head. His body has been taken to Royapettah Government Hospital. It is understood that Pradeep died two days ago due to head injury and heart attack, however, the Neelankarai police are investigating the cause of death. The cause of his death will be clear after the post-mortem.
Many have mourned the death of Pradeep Vijayan on social media. Singer and actress Soundarya Bala Nandakumar posted on X about his death. “This is a shocking incident. He was like my brother, I loved him very much, we never spoke everyday, but when we did occasionally, we spoke affectionately. You will be greatly missed Pradeep K Vijayan Anna. May your soul rest in peace,” she wrote in the post.
Everyone fondly called Pradeep 'Pappu'. He made his film debut in 2013. He has acted in many films including Janani-starrer 'Thegidi' and 'Hey Sinamika'. He was last seen in Raghav Lawrence's Rudhran. Pradeep is also playing a supporting role in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Maharaja' which released in theatres on June 14.
