In a shocking event, a 22-year-old youngster, out of spite, posted intimate videos of his girlfriend on a porn website. However, the police have arrested the accused after his misdeed. The two of them were in a relationship when they would talk to each other through video calls. During such calls, the two of them got intimate and shared private images/videos with each other.
However, when the two of them broke up, the boy revealed that he had recorded the entire video and posted it online on a porn website. The victim claimed that she had no knowledge about her ex-boyfriend's misdeed until one of her friends told her about the video.
After which, the shell-shocked girl realised that the accused had recorded one of their video calls. Upon asking him, the accused refused profusely to the allegations.
Accordingly, the girl filed a complaint on January 15 with Powai Police who filed a case under the IPC and the IT Act. As per the complaint, the boy did not inform the girl about recording the video and did it without her consent or knowledge.
After which, upon investigation, the police learned that the accused had posted the video. Therefore, he was arrested on January 24 from his house and presented before the court.
