A tragic incident occurred in the Malad area where a 32-year-old man, Nitin Dhondiram Jamble, allegedly killed his wife, Komal, with a knife and then surrendered to the police. The Dindoshi police immediately arrested the accused and seized the knife used in the crime. The police have registered a case of murder following the incident, which took place on Monday.

According to the police, the deceased woman sustained severe injuries to her back and neck. Nitin and Komal had been married since 2018 but were reportedly living apart due to ongoing disputes. Over the past few days, arguments between the couple escalated, leading to this horrific outcome.

On the day of the incident, Nitin called Komal to his residence at Ramji Jorge chawl in the Kasam Baug area of Malad East. An argument ensued, during which Nitin allegedly attacked Komal with a knife, stabbing her multiple times. She was rushed to a trauma care center, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Following the incident, Nitin went to the police station and confessed to the crime. Acting on the complaint filed by Komal's mother, Suman Shelar, the police registered a case of murder against him. It was also revealed that Nitin had previously been involved in a case under the Intimidation and Prevention of Information Technology Act, registered at the Dindoshi Police Station.
