India's Got Latent Controversy: Cyber Department May Summon Participants, Question Other Judges

The Maharashtra Cyber Department has written to YouTube to remove all 18 episodes of the controversial show 'India's Got Latent'. Also, the cyber department has also made it clear that the contestants participating in this will also be charged if they make obscene comments. Tanmay Bhat, Rakhi Sawant, Uorfi Javed, Siddharth Chaturvedi and Deepak Kalal, among others, have been summoned in this case.


The Maharashtra Cyber Department has registered a case against Raina, Ranveer and 30 to 40 people under the Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code. Assam Police has registered the first case in this matter. Assam Police arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday to investigate the same case. They discussed the investigation with the Mumbai Police. Also, it is understood that some people have started taking responsibility. Meanwhile, the police officials clarified that the statements of Apurva Makhija and the manager of Allahabadia have also been recorded.

A total of 18 episodes of India's Got Latent were released on YouTube. The cyber department said that a letter has been sent to YouTube to remove all these episodes. The cyber department also said that the audience will be made witnesses in this. Samay Raina's show invites famous people from different fields as judges. In one episode, YouTubers Ranveer Allahabadia and Apoorva Makhija were invited. At that time, Ranveer had made offensive statements asking a contestant obscene questions about his parents. Khar Police is conducting a preliminary investigation in this matter.


"Cooperation with investigative agencies"
Samay Raina put up a post on various social media platforms saying that he has deleted all the episodes. 
“Everything that is happening is too much for me. I have removed all India's Got Latent videos from my channel. My only purpose was to make people laugh and have fun. Their inquiries should be conducted impartially. Samay Raina has said that I will cooperate with the investigating agencies to the best of my ability.”
