While fans thronged actor Shah Rukh Khan's 58th birthday at his residence Mannat in Bandra, thieves were also active in the crowd. At this time, the police have received complaints of theft of 17 mobile phones and the Bandra police have registered a case in this regard.


According to police, like every year, hundreds of fans had gathered outside Mannat, Khan's bungalow at Bandstand in Bandra (West). Fans thronged in large numbers on Wednesday midnight to wish him. Heavy security was deployed by the police to prevent any untoward incident, yet thieves were able to steal 17 mobile phones.

Arbaaz Khan (23), a resident of Santacruz, along with his friends came to the bandstand to catch a glimpse of the actor. Actor Khan came out of his house at midnight on Wednesday, standing in his signature style and accepting the wishes of his fans. After some time Arbaaz realised that he did not have a mobile phone in his pocket. When he inquired around, he realised that the mobile phone was stolen. A case has been registered on his complaint in this matter. 


Mobile phones of 16 more Shah Rukh fans have been stolen. Police have registered a second case on the complaint of Nikhil Bhatt (24), a businessman from Lower Parel. This is not the first time that mobile phones have been stolen on Shahrukh's birthday, 11 fans lost their mobile phones in 2022. Before that, in 2019, the mobile phones of two fans were stolen. In 2017, 13 mobile phones were stolen.
