Worli - A painting by famous painter Vasudeo Gaitonde worth Rs 50 crore is reported to have gone missing from Nirlon House here. Nirlon House shareholder Mathuradas has filed a complaint in this regard at Worli police station. Mathuradas has claimed to have seen the said painting at an exhibition in New York. The 1960 painting was sold to Rs 90 lakh in an auction while the same painting was sold at Rs 20 crore in 2013.
