Amid the election season, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Bhaskar Vichare received an alleged death threat over the phone after which he filed a complaint against the unknown caller.
The case was registered at Bhandup Police Station. In the complaint, Vichare wrote that the caller threatened to kill him. The caller also said that he will remove two more persons from his way.

The police registered a non-cognizable offence against the unknown caller and informed that they are further investigating the matter.
