A passenger from Navi Mumbai and his two friends were boarding a Vashi bus at the Vashi bus stop on Vallipeer Road in Kalyan West around 9 p.m. on Monday night. At this time, while boarding the bus, three con men quarreled with a passenger and snatched his mobile, worth INR 12,000, from him.

Until now, there were cases of theft of belongings from the passengers in the Kalyan West bus depot of the State Transport Corporation and looting of the belongings from the hands of the passengers outside the depot. There is an atmosphere of fear among the passengers due to the increasing number of thieves in the Kalyan West Railway Station area day by day.

Police said Hetaraj Prajapati (22) works in Kalyan and lives in the Sanpada area of Navi Mumbai. On Monday around 9 p.m., the complainant, Hetaraj, and his two accomplices were boarding a Navi Mumbai Transport Corporation Vashi bus at the Vashi bus stop on Vallipir Road. While boarding the bus, the three con men started a fight with Hetaraj, asking why he pushed them while boarding the bus. The three of them started beating Hetaraj. While Hetaraj was telling them sensibly, they were using the language of bullying.

 All three con men had boarded the bus with the intention of stealing and robbing the passengers. After arguing with Hetraj, one of the goons snatched the mobile from his hand. When Hetraj started demanding his return, the three con men got off the bus and ran away. Hetaraj has filed a complaint in this matter at Mahatma Phule Police Station. Constable P.L.
