The 'second admission list' as per the regular Round 2 for Class XI admission under the academic year 2024-25 has been released online on Wednesday, July 10 at 10 am. Students who have got a college under the second admission list can confirm their admission from 10 am on July 10 to 6 pm on July 12.

Under the first admission list, 2 lakh 28 thousand 312 students were eligible for 2 lakh 49 thousand 50 seats in various colleges of Mumbai metropolitan area. Out of them 1 lakh 30 thousand 650 students were given college and 97 thousand 662 students under this list are still waiting for admission.


Students can go to their login and click on the 'Check Allotment Status' option to see which college they have got. If a student does not want to take admission in the colleges he/she has got, he/she can wait for the next round. However, if the students have got the first choice college then it will be mandatory to confirm the admission.

Admissions of 57,450 students have been confirmed so far out of 2 lakh 51 thousand 242 seats of central admission available in junior colleges in Mumbai metropolitan area, while 1 lakh 93 thousand 792 seats are vacant. Out of 1 lakh 48 thousand 643 seats available under the quota, 19,127 students have been admitted and 1 lakh 29 thousand 516 seats are vacant. 76,577 students have been admitted out of 3 lakh 99 thousand 885 seats available under the central admission process and quota, while 3 lakh 23 thousand 308 seats are vacant.

The number of students applying for commerce, science streams is more compared to the available seats. Also, the effect of the increased results has been visible from the first round of admissions in XI. According to the first admission list, there has been an increase of 2 to 3 percent in the admission eligibility marks (cut off) for commerce courses compared to last year. Also, the admission eligibility marks for arts and science streams have also crossed the 90 mark. 

For admissions under quota

Admit list of concerned students interested for admission under Institutional, Minority and Management quota will also be released on Wednesday, July 10 at junior college level, also selected students will be contacted by phone from junior college level for admission under quota. These students have to confirm admission by 6 pm on July 12.
