An educational institute located in the Subhashchandra Road area of Jambli Naka Bazar Pethe in Thane has suddenly stopped tuition for a few months after charging an advance fee from the parents of the students. More than 200 engineering students were taking tuition here. All the parents came together and filed a complaint against the educational institution in the Thane Nagar Police Station in connection with the financial fraud of INR 3 crore. On the basis of this complaint, Thane Nagar Police has registered a case against this educational institution.

Jambli Naka market has been an educational institution since 2013. This institute was providing engineering preparatory (IIT and JEE) tuition for class XI – XII students. More than 200 students were admitted in this institute in April 2024.

Six lakhs was being charged by this institution for two years i.e. eleventh and twelfth. But, before taking admission in this institute, the students were taking an entrance exam. In it, fee concessions were given to students who got good marks. Students' classes started smoothly till 25th November. Subsequently, the Pune branch of this organisation was closed due to some technical reason.

The parents then visited the Thane branch to make sure. At that time, the staff told the parents that there would be no impact on this branch. However, within a few days, footage of a Thane organization meeting was circulated on social media to parents. In that video, when a teacher from the Thane institute questioned the director of the institute about non-payment of salary on time, he was immediately suspended. At that time, when all the parents asked the head of the Thane branch about this matter, he explained that the financial condition of the Thane institution was bad and they could not continue teaching.

If you want to ask questions about this, contact the director, the head told the parents. If you enroll your children in the Delhi branch as an alternative from the Thane institute by paying INR 5000, the students will get online tuition. However, the parents have opposed this option of the institution as they had already suffered a financial loss by trusting the Thane institution so as not to suffer this again. In all these cases, all the parents filed a complaint against this educational institution in the Thane Nagar Police Station regarding the educational loss and financial fraud of more than 200 students.
