Experts around the world have asked the nations to focus on vaccinating every citizen in the country as it is considered to be one of the most effective measures to control the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). For the last few months, people across India are being vaccinated with either Covishield, Covaxin or Sputnik V, and the state of Maharashtra is currently leading in terms of vaccination as large number of citizens in the state have been vaccinated.
However, due to the ongoing shortage of vaccines, several centres across the state were not able to administer the same, in a timely manner.
