Mumbai - Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) to find out another option for the Metro-3 car shed instead of space at Aarey Colony. A delegation of Vanshakti and Save Aarey had recently met the CM to demand shifting of the proposed Metro-3 car shed from Aarey Colony. Accordingly, Fadnavis instructed the officers and also directed them to hold a meeting with Save Aarey members.
Following this, the MMRC has convened a meeting with Save Aarey members which is likely to take place on Friday, informed a member of the NGO.
As the CM has started giving attention to this issue, the solution is likely to arrive. The stand of MMRC is not known as it is not ready to think of another option for the Metro-3 car shed.
