All eyes today were on Ajit Pawar. For those unaware, he is the nephew of Sharad Pawar. It is with the help of his support that Fadnavis government had claimed that they had the numbers and formed the government. What's more, Ajit Pawar had also sworn in as the Deputy CM in that government. However, on November 26, he resigned from this post and came back to NCP.

One would have thought that the things would be tense between him and his cousin Nationalist Congress Party MP Supriya Sule-Pawar. But that was not the case so, Ajit Pawar arrived at Vidhan Bhavan with a wide grin and then he gave her a warm hug signalling that all is well between them.

Earlier, when Ajit Pawar had joined hands with BJP, Sule had put "Family and party split," as her WhatsApp status. Later she had also put,: "Never felt so cheated in my life. Defended him, loved him. Look what I get in return."

On November 27, all 287 newly-elected legislators gathered at the Vidhan Bhavan for the Special Session of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. These elected representatives from various parties were sworn-in by Protem Speaker Kalidas N. Kolambkar. At this ceremony, Ajit Pawar too took oath as the party member of NCP.

Supriya Sule also greeted the former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis with warmth and folded hands, touched him on the shoulder as he proceeded with a smile. She even went on to receive former Speaker and senior BJP leader Haribhau Bagade and other leaders with warmth, presenting a relaxed atmosphere, in sharp contrast to the tension-filled political turbulence of the past one month.

Last night, Uddhav Thackeray was unanimously elected the leader of the Maha Vikas Aghadi for Chief Minister's post by the top leaders of the Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress. It is said that he will be sworn in on November 28 at Shivaji Park.
