After Congress leader and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu attended the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, it has sparked a major row among the opposition party and nationalistic elements in the country.
In the ceremony, Sidhu hugged Pakistan’s army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa which invited a lot of criticism against him from various BJP leaders. BJP workers on Monday carried out a Morcha against Sidhu at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan and tried to burn his poster but the police prevented the same.

We will agitate at every place until Sidhu is arrested and charged with sedition. If Sidhu steps in Mumbai, we will cut his hands and legs off,” BJP veteran Mohammad Farooq Azam said.
While BJP workers tried to burn the poster of the Congress leader, the police stopped it. Meanwhile, the agitators chanted slogans against Sidhu.
