Mumbai – It was a strange but a welcome scene experienced in the state legislature premises on Thursday. Not only opposition MLAs but also the ruling party MLAs raised slogans against the State government on the issue of loan waiver for farmers. Shiv Sena MLAs were aggressively raising the slogans for loan waiver while BJP MLAs also raised this issue. BJP MLA Kisan Kathore asked the chief minister to grant loan waiver for farmers in the state.
Meanwhile, ruling party MLAs alleged that opposition party members were demanding loan waiver for farmers for their vested interests.
