Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been given a god-like status and his temple has been built by a devotee. Mayur Munde, who based on some accounts is a BJP activist from Pune’s Aundh area has built this temple on his land.

Diwanshu Tiwari, a marble seller from Pimpri Chinchwad, has specially made a statue of Modi from Jaipur. Rs 1,60,000 has allegedly been spent on this.

On the 15th of August, the temple was inaugurated by K.K.Naidu. In front of the temple, a poem composed by Mayur Munde on the work of Prime Minister Modi has been displayed for the devotees. The work done by the Prime Minister so far is also mentioned on the plaque outside the temple through this poem.

Whilst it is the first temple of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Pune, some say that is the first in the country. Mayur Munde commented that the temple was built because he was inspired by Modi.

It is claimed that Munde has been working for the BJP for the last 20 years. Since he believes that the Prime Minister has made several important decisions, the temple was built keeping in view the efforts of Narendra Modi in building the Ram temple. Many people have flocked here since the temple was built.

It has been revealed that Munde, a staunch supporter of Narendra Modi, allegedly has a criminal background. Two cases have been registered against him at the Chaturshringi police station in Pune. A few days ago, he is said to have pushback a senior citizen and has been charged in the case.
