There is a popular saying in Hindi which reads "doobte ko tinke ka sahara," which literally means that any form of support during an emergency, certainly helps. Such seems to be the state of Raj Thackeray led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), where the party seems to be losing it all, having almost no say in city governance.

First, it was the BMC elections in February, where the party lost with heavy numbers and recently it the past had haunted the party again, where 6 out of 7 corporators decide to bid adieu to this self-proclaimed strong, independent party.

But his (read Raj Thackeray) prayers are, we guess, being heard. Out of the six-party corporators, who defect to Shiv Sena, four of them are likely to return to the home ground

The four corporators - Parmeshvar Kadam, Harshala More, Dattaram Narvankar, and Archana Bhalerao - are willing to join the party back and one of MNS' spokesperson clarified that the discussion is on and the corporators are in touch with MNS chief Raj Thackeray. However, the Sena is firm on its stand that no corporator is returning back to MNS

It all began 12 days back when MNS suffered a huge setback when five of their corporators - Dilip Lande and the above mentioned 4 members - decided to join their ally, Shiv Sena, around the recently Bhandup election when Ashish Shelar commented about a potential new mayor for Mumbai.

Talking about the same, BJP MP Kirit Somaiya took to Twitter and claimed that Sena bribed the corporators.

In this every so dynamic political game, will Raj Thackeray's train continue to run? Only time shall tell.
