Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday said that Maratha youth should not seek employment but provide employment. Various government schemes focusing on education, business, and employment are being implemented for the benefit of Maratha youth.

While speaking on the occasion of the 85th birth anniversary of late Mathadi leader Annasaheb Patil, CM Fadnavis said that Maharashtra government has revived the Annasaheb Patil Financial Development Corporation (APFDC) by providing ₹500 crore so that the Maratha youth doesn’t demand employment but creates the same.

Through APFDC, the youth seeking self-employment will be given ₹10 lakh as a loan under government’s guarantee, CM further said, adding that of 52,000 houses being constructed in Navi Mumbai, 2600 houses will be reserved for Mathadi workers.

Chief Minister also announced that Annasaheb Patil Financial Development Corporation president Narendra Patil and vice president Sanjay Pawar will be given cabinet minister and Minister of State (MoS), respectively.
