CST – All the State Government Employees Associations staged agitation at Azad Maidan here to press their demand for the implementation of the old pension scheme. Maharashtra government has started new pension scheme from 2005.
The agitating employees’ unions demanded that government should cancel the new pension scheme and implement the old scheme.
“The State government is in deep slumber even after staging agitations for implementation of the old pension scheme for government employees. The salaries are being deducted under new pension scheme but the government is not giving its details to us. Crores of rupees deducted from employees’ salaries are being invested in share market,” alleged State Government Employees Association’s general secretary Avinash Daund.
He threatened to launch a severe agitation if demands of employees are not fulfilled.
