Raj Thackeray is a fire-brand leader in Maharashtra known well for his oratory skills. Usually, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief starts his speech catering to the ‘Marathi-speaking’ audience.
However, while addressing the gathering at first-ever Maha-Adhiveshan, Thackeray on Thursday evening started his speech while only taking the people of ‘Hindu’ community into account.
Majhye tamam Hindu bandhawano ani bhagino (All my Hindu brothers and sisters). I am a Hindu and a Marathi too,” Thackeray during his speech.
Hijacking the ‘Hindutva’ and ‘sons of the soil’ issues, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray said that these two will be the agendas for this party.
MNS chief Raj Thackeray has officially extended his support to the new citizenship bill (CAA) and NRC and said that he will meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The most important issue today is the expulsion of Bangladeshi and Pakistani intruders from this country. The central government has my full support for this. I know that ‘Maulvis’ from other countries come and take part in anti-national activities,” said Thackeray.
Speaking on the ongoing protests against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and NRC, Raj Thackeray announced that this is collective anger over the abrogation of Article 370 and Ram Mandir verdict.

MNS will hit the streets on February 9 to show its support for the CAA while saying that “protests should be countered with protests”.
Earlier, in the day-long Maha Adhiveshan, MNS chief Raj Thackeray announced the new party flag from a mix of saffron, green and blue to completely saffron with a royal stamp – used during Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s rule – replacing the train engine symbol.
