Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have increased their visits to Maharashtra as the assembly elections are likely to be announced soon.


Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming on a two-day visit to the state from Tuesday to review the preparations for the assembly elections and build confidence among the officials and activists in the wake of the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. There is also a possibility that there will be a discussion on seat allocation in the Mahayuti.


On Tuesday, Shah will interact with party office-bearers in Nagpur and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Shah is going to review the preparations for the assembly elections with some key office bearers of the party in Sambhajinagar. Amit Shah will interact with office bearers in Nashik and Kolhapur on Wednesday. In all the four places, party chief office bearers, district leaders, booth level office bearers have been invited. It was said that about two thousand office bearers were invited in all the four places.

Amit Shah is going to discuss with the party leaders regarding seat allocation in Mahayuti during his visit to Maharashtra. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar are likely to meet Shah. There is an attempt to create a sense of enthusiasm and confidence among the BJP workers.


Inauguration of infrastructure in Pune

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Pune on Thursday, September 26. Inauguration of Shivajinagar to Swargate underground line, Bhoomipujan of Swargate to Katraj underground metro and inauguration of Solapur airport will be done by Modi.
