A terrible incident took place on October 13 near Malad East Railway Station. A youth has died in an argument with a rickshaw driver. Meanwhile, information is coming out that the young man who died in this beating was linked with the MNS party. MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande expressed anguish in this matter. He was talking to news agency PTI.
What exactly is the case?
Akash (age 31) was riding a bike from Malad East Shivaji Chowk on October 13. At that time, the rickshaw driver suddenly swerved the rickshaw, which led to an argument between them. He got into a fight with the rickshaw driver. After the argument escalated, friends of the rickshaw driver, local hawkers gathered there. About 10 to 15 people who had gathered attacked Akash.
He was severely injured in the beating with kicks and punches. He was immediately admitted to a nearby trauma care hospital. However, died around twelve o'clock in the night. A case has been registered in Dindoshi police station in connection with this attack. Akash's legs, arms, stomach and waist were severely injured due to the beating.
What did Sandeep Deshpande say?
“Akash was the son of the department secretary. He lives in Hyderabad. He had come to Mumbai for Dussehra. He had a minor fight with the rickshaw driver while riding the bike. Around there, other rickshaw drivers and hawkers did a mob lynching. He was then taken to a trauma care center. But, he was not given proper treatment there. The doctors there said that he was out of danger, but he died at night when he came home", said Sandeep Deshpande.
“Our workers have discussed with the DCP. He said that the accused will be given severe punishment in this case. The government should be afraid and this is why such incidents are happening", he added.

Many cases have already been registered against the accused
On the complaint of Akash's wife Anushree, the Dindoshi police have registered a case of murder and with the help of CCTV footage, Avinash Namdev Kadam,Amit Joginder Vishwakarma, Aditya Dinesh Singh, Jaiprakash Deepak Amte, Rakesh Malku Dhavle, Sahil Sikandar Kadam have been arrested.
Earlier, a case has been registered against Avinash Kadam in Pantnagar and Borivali police stations for causing fights and accidents. A case of assault has been registered against Aditya Singh and Jaiprakash Amte in Dindoshi Police Station in 2019.
The accused killed one by hitting him with a stone. The police also recovered the stone used in the murder. The investigation revealed that the accused Vaibhav Sawant and other persons were also involved in this case. Meanwhile, former minister Jitendra Awhad has raised questions about law and order in Mumbai by tweeting about the attack on Akash.
