The state finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar was criticized while presenting the state budget 2017-18. Opposition party leaders try creating hindrance during the state budget processing stating that the budget lacked provisions for farmers and missed out farmers’ loan waiver issue.
Balanced budget
Even though the opposition party leaders criticized the budget, leading party appreciated the efforts of finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. Saying so, Shiv Sena has taken a diplomatic stand on budget.
