Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday addressed a public rally at two places in Mumbai. During the election campaign, former Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam was not present during the election rallies. 

However, while giving clarification regarding his absence, Nirupam said that he was busy in a family function and had informed Rahul Gandhi regarding the same. 

Refuting all the speculations regarding his absence in Rahul Gandhi’s rally, Nirupam took Twitter to inform that he was busy in an important family function till late night. 

In his tweet, Nirupam further taunted Congress leader Milind Deora saying that “why was Nikamma absent?”

While addressing a rally in Chandivali area on Sunday, Rahul Gandhi lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the centre and state over the ‘unemployment issue’.

Targeting the Devendra Fadnavis-led government in Maharashtra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that ‘made in china’ policy has ended the employment opportunity of Indian youth.
