After the 2019 Lok Sabha election results, the second term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been reassured. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has managed to win on more than 300 seats. As this happened, BJP leader Vinod Tawde attacked Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray saying that people have rejected his appeals.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, MNS had clarified that it won’t contest the general polls. However, Raj Thackeray had launched an aggressive campaign against Modi and BJP President Amit Shah across Maharashtra while appealing people to not for the saffron party.

Earlier, the BJP had objected to the claims made by Thackeray in his rallies. The party had also raised complaints with the Election Commission regarding the expenses for Thackeray’s rally.

While talking to media after the LS results were declared, Tawde took a jibe at Thackeray saying that he has entertained people in his rallies, he should pay entertainment tax. Tawde further asserted that despite several appeals made by the MNS chief the people showed faith in Shiv Sena and BJP.
